In the following story, explore where their character strengths were demonstrated and helped them to overcome challenges and difficulties.

Alfred Nobel
1833 - 1896
My name is Alfred Nobel. I was born in a snowy city called Stockholm, Sweden, a long time ago in 1833. My father built bridges and big buildings. He also worked with explosives to help break big rocks. But life was not always easy. My family lost all our money, and my father had to move far away to Russia to start again. When I was nine years old, my mother took me and my brothers to join him.

I loved learning. I studied science and languages, and I was always curious about how things worked. I was grateful for the chance to learn and travel to new places.
