Amazing People Schools’ mission is to unlock the potential of every young person, inspiring them through diverse role models, their stories and strengths.
Our primary section is a bright, engaging and fun platform awaits younger pupils, with all resources differentiated by age, spanning the Early Years, 5-7 & 7-11 age groups.
The Amazing People framework for character strengths shows some of the teaching resources available to embed character across your school.
Each one of the groups in the Amazing Person Model contains four character strengths.
Character is a habit of mind developed through a set of traits or dispositions that guide conduct, motivation and feelings.
Strengths are positive personal characteristics, including personality traits, psychological abilities, moral qualities and talents, that feel natural and enjoyable to develop and practise.
Role models from all areas of life covering actors, poets, sports, writers, activists, designers and others.
Students are encouraged to explore the strengths displayed by role models.
A diverse range of lessons and assemblies available for ready use by teachers, addressing the 24 key strengths from the APS framrwork.
Stories of the historical characters are woven into the lesson and assembly discussions.
There are many student resources ranging from oracy warmups, colouring sheets, litereacy activities and more.
All students can participate in using these resources to increase their understanding of the key strenghts and historical characters.
