In the following story, explore where their character strengths were demonstrated and helped them to overcome challenges and difficulties.

William Shakespeare
1564 - 1616
My name is William Shakespeare. I was born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, in a busy house with seven children. My father made gloves, and my mother cared for us all. Our home was always lively and full of stories, and I loved listening to them. At school, I discovered that I also loved words and writing.

When I was 18, I met Anne Hathaway. She enjoyed gardening, and we quickly became friends. We got married and had three children: Susanna, and twins Hamnet and Judith. Our life in Stratford was simple but happy.
