In the following story, explore where their character strengths were demonstrated and helped them to overcome challenges and difficulties.

Charles Darwin
1809 - 1882
My name is Charles Darwin. When I was a little boy, I loved exploring nature. I spent hours looking at plants, animals, and rocks near my home. My father thought my hobbies were silly and called them "rat-catching," but I didn’t mind. I just loved learning about the world around me.

When I grew up, my father sent me to study religion at Cambridge University. But my life changed in 1831 when my uncle helped me to join in with a big sea adventure. I became part of the HMS Beagle’s journey around the world.
