In the following story, explore where their character strengths were demonstrated and helped them to overcome challenges and difficulties.

Caroline Chisholm
1808 - 1877
My name is Caroline Chisholm. I was born in England a long time ago. My family lived on a farm, and I had 11 brothers and sisters. When I was just six years old, my father died, and life became very hard.

When I grew up, I married a kind man, and we moved far away to India. I saw that some young girls needed help, so I opened a school just for them. I taught them how to read, write, and take care of themselves.
