PSHE Assembly: Saying Sorry
Content Name
PSHE Assembly: Saying Sorry
Content Type
Assembly
Description
This assembly is aimed at KS1 and KS2. You can make the assembly more challenging with more in-depth discussions about damages poor choices can make on friendships and when it is irreparable. It can be useful to link this concept to social stories for SEND children, giving them a template on how to apologise and accept an apology- when they want to and think it is right. (It is important to recognise vulnerable children may be more likely to accept ‘apologies’ from friends who may be unkind and exploit their vulnerabilities, additional intervention on this may be beneficial). Length: 15-30 mins The PSHE objectives for this assembly have been selected from the PHSE Association's Programme of Study for PSHE Education 2020.
