Description

Subitise 10 Frames is a more structured subitising activity, where children are challenged to use their subitising skills as quickly as possible to name and discuss a given number image from a 10 Frame. Unlike many of the other 10 Frame activities that appear in MAP, where specific images have been selected for a particular purpose, the subitising activities use a wide range of different representations of the same number so that children get used to seeing numbers in different orientations. The activities are also very useful in promoting early calculation skills.
