Description

PSHE expert, Louise Jackson, shares an assembly that focuses on developing children's understanding of basic first aid and why this is such an important life skill. This assembly is aimed at KS2 but it can be easily adapted or used with KS1. Slides can be shared as a whole-school assembly or in class and have the scope to last between 15-30 minutes. You may also want to extend further by practising the recovery position in a classroom setting, using the video guide. The PSHE objectives for this assembly have been selected from the PHSE Association's Programme of Study for PSHE Education 2020.
