Description
Beat The Calculator is a very competitive, fun number fact game where children compete in pairs to be the first to shout out an answer. Although mainly used to practice speedy multiplication, it can easily be adapted for any of the four operations or to rehearse any of the key mental strategies (MC RAPA CoODA NumFa etc.). The instructions below show the game being used for multiplication, and then near doubles.
