Description
Fractions To Percentages is a simple activity which involves converting ‘scores’ into percentages. Begin by explaining that percentages are always expressed out of 100, but often scores in tests are given out of 10, 20, 40, 50 etc. These scores are written in the same form as fractions. E.g. A score of 7 out of 10 is written as 7/10 and a score of 11 out of 20 is written as 11/20.
