Description

The first six rows and columns contain the Year 2 table facts (1s, 2s, 5s and 10s) and the 3 and 4 times table facts, the first to be learnt in Year 3. The final three rows and columns contain the the remaining tables (6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, 11s and 12s). Their overlap box is greyed out, so children can tackle these facts and demonstrate their understanding once the other facts are recorded if they so wish. These Speed Grids can be undertaken as a timed or untimed challenge. Children should fill in as many boxes as possible within the set time. Each product is worth 1 point so the maximum score on each grid is 81 points for the unshaded area.
