Join Emily Gopaul as she introduces the concept of Art to Key Stage 1 pupils. In this Wow lesson, you will be introduced to the work of a contemporary artist. You will understand how the artist uses vibrant colours, patterns and textures in her imaginary portraits. Using a foundational understanding of how to draw the proportions of the face, you will create your own collage of an imaginary portrait. You will also introduce themes of celebrating difference through these collages!
