Description

Abacus Bonds is a very simple activity to demonstrate and practice making a range of number bonds for all multiples of 10 up to 100 using the Slavonic Abacus. The Year 1 and Year 2 bonds (to 10 and 20) can also be created with Rekenreks instead of Abacuses if teachers prefer, but for the purpose of this document all activities will be explained using the Abacus.
