Description

Egg Box Bonds is a very simple activity to introduce what will eventually be the NumFa strategy for addition. The children will already have practised making number bonds to 10 and 20 in Egg Boxes as part of the Year 1 MAP programme. This activity extends this skill, allowing children to simplify complicated looking calculations simply by making number bonds, initially to 10, then 20, then any multiple of 10.
