‘10 More Or Less’ is an activity simple designed so that children can clearly see what happens when 10 is added or subtracted to / from any single or 2-digit number. Too often, 10 more or less are concepts taught purely as abstract calculations, where children use a verbal pattern to increase or decrease an amount by 10.
