I am Emily Gopaul, I have close to two decades of experience teaching and leading art departments in England. In Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4, state and private sector.

In addition to this I established my consultancy company "The primary art class" in 2018. I work extensively on curriculum, content and resource design and delivery for the education and cultural sector. In 2018 I authored a book Teaching Primary Art & Design, published by Bloomsbury.

My consultancy work is varied but all under the remit of art education, a mixture of online and in-person projects. I deliver training independently and on behalf of universities and teacher training providers. I present keynote speeches for audiences in education and cultural sector. I have and continue to have working relationships with with NSEAD, Tate, Teach First, BBC Teach, BBC Education, Future Academies, UCL to name a few.
