Join languages expert, Kate Clifton, as she shares a lesson that will help develop pupils' Cultural Capital, as they learn about the French tradition, Les poissons d'avril. Pupils will not only learn new language associated with this French tradition but they will also develop listening and comprehension skills and make comparisons between the French and English traditions. This lesson also includes explicit teaching around the phonics focus of the letter 'n' and features sound clips to support accurate pronunciation.
